Letting Go

If Letting Go is a profession, I would have probably earned my Masteral by now... :)

Just a Quick Trivia:
I am always the last girlfriend or a woman a man would love before he gets married...
Just probably a coincidence... Yey, thrice in a row...
Come to think of it, I only fall inlove once in a blue moon...

SMS Moving Me

I don't want to sound so preachy. I just want to share you guys these beautiful text messages I got from my bestfriend Angela and from my friend Al yesterday. I was going through so much pain yesterday and indeed these messages moved me. I thought to myself that God wanted to talk to me, and has probably used these people to tell me what He wanted me to know...

ANGELA:
You are a mighty woman of God.
You can go through with this because He will enable you
because He is your strength in you weakness.
May you have an encounter with Jesus.
May you be captivated by Him.

"I, the LORD search the heart and examine the mind." -  Jeremiah 17:10
As God does these, He will show us things in us that are not pleasing, ugly, evil. But He will always rebuke in love. Our response then is brokenness, not shame. Throwing our helpless selves into His arms, not running away. Happy Searching! :)

---------------
AL:
Just remember, take one step backward and two steps forward. Remember, life is beautiful. It's our decisions that screw it up. Just try to make the most of the hand that is dealt to you.

Take it easy, what is important is we are alive. You know what, if you just focus and breathe and just think of how complex our body and the mind is - then you will realize that everything you need to solve your problems, God has already given you. So smile..

Who would love this woman?
God would....

MP 26 Photoshoot

I was invited by Sir Dennis (President and Owner of Modelo Pilipinas) to doll up 6 of her students for the photoshoot held yesterday at STI Academic Center in Taguig.

My dad was kind enough to serve as my driver that day  since I have been not in the mood to drive nowadays.. I tagged along Mhel with me.. We missed each other as much as we miss the rest of our friends from LCI...

It has been a very busy day. I was not able to take photos of the models since there was literally no "free time" to do that..

Mhel and I with some of the girls

How time flies. It was only like yesterday when I was just one of the students of Sir Dennis. Now, I am doing the makeup of his students. I was touched when Sir Dennis told me that he always tells his students how united our batch was. I met wonderful friends from this batch.. All of them are beautiful, kindhearted, humble and sincere.. I am so proud of them and thankful for the gift of friendship.

Sweet Memories from MP Batch 17

Have a GREAT DAY!

Beautiful Sunday

Hello everyone........
Let me share to you a beautiful passage I got from the Sunday Service last time....

When you know GOD:

NO SITUATION will discourage you.
NO LACK will make you fearful.
NO SICKNESS will keep you helpless.
NO STRUGGLES will keep you bondage.
NO LIES AND SLANDER will bring you down.
NO PRESSURE will make you lose control.
NO CHALLENGE will stop you.
NO TEMPTATION will overcome you
NOTHING WILL STAND UP AGAINST YOU...

And may I share to you a beautiful scene I've seen from the sky on my way home?
Looks like you are having a hard time appreciating its beauty.. I was just using a regular digi-cam.. But c'mon I even had to get out of the car to take a photo of it... I call that "effort". :)

Anyways, it's the Crescent Earth Moon and Venus. Such a wonderful sight to behold. A revelation how amazing our God is... :)

So to give justice to that magical scene I have witnessed, I am sharing you a photo I got from FB, taken by a professional photographer....

PBA All Star Weekend in Palawan

25 April 2010
The best part of my short vacay in Palawan was getting a VIP pass for the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) All Star Weekend. It was a great and fun experience.. I was so lucky that it was held in Palawan this year and it so happened that I was there... This is better than all the island hoppings.. I know some of you won't agree... But then, I was able to see my idol (since I was 10), The Legend -  Alvin Patrimonio up close.

And my college crush
Mark Macapagal.. Ahhhm, he's still as cute as ever.. :) My jaw almost dopped... :)

I had so much fun watching the game. I have always been a fan of basketball..

Managed to have some souvenir photos. It hasn't been easy, the security was tough.. I just found a way...

and lastly.... :)

April 16, 209 - My first time to ever visit The Subterranean River Natural Park, also known as the Underground River.

The Subterranean River Natural Park features a limestone karst with an 8.2 kilometer navigable underground river that winds through a cave before flowing directly into the South China Sea.Underground River is one of the 28 finalist for the Official New 7 Wonders of Nature!

The view was breathtaking... No words to describe how mesmerized I was...

Here are some of the photos:

Palawan Escape Part 2

April 15, 2010

The day before this, my mother and I were talking about PPC and she was a little surprised that I haven't really explored the city yet. Like I haven't been to some of the famous landmarks of the city.
So what does a city girl would normally do whenever she visits her hometown?  Since I am not a fan of beaches, unlike most of the people I know -- I'd rather stay home and spend time with my grandma..

Mom suggested that we should go to Angela's Farm.for a swimming with my little cousins....I thought it would be fun and the rest of my little cousins were so excited.

It was the owner's birthday that day, and they were not supposed to allow us use the area, since they were preparing for the party that night. But luckily, my aunt is a friend of Angela and we were allowed to swim that day..

We were invited to attend the party that night. Angela was so nice to me...

Somehow, I was inspired to have a huge house in Palawan....

Palawan Escape Part 1

April 11 -  Manila-Palawan Flight
It was my first time to fly with ZestAir, since I would normally fly with PAL or Cebu Pacific for domestic flights.

At times, I wish I was a flight attendant. Since they are paid to travel the world. But whenever there's an air pocket, I would right away change my mind... Two thumbs up to all the cabin crew out there...

I asked my cousins Den and Jim to visit us that night..  I don't know how did they grow so tall... It was only like yesterday that I could still carry them. I miss those days..

April 12 -

So happy to be visited by my cousins Anne and Collen.. They have always been like my younger sisters.. I love them so much and I am pretty sure they love me too...

Later that afternoon, we went to Baker's Hill. It is small village-like place which is in the same way like a small theme park. The place is open to public.

April 13 - Mom, with Jim and Mar went to Baybay. It's Puerto Princesa's counterpart of  Baywalk...

April 14 - Family bonding at the beach..

Later that night, my little cousins wanted to go to Baybay so badly, my Uncle Bay was forced to drive for them. Bitoy and Pawikan enjoyed biking while the teenagers strolled around. I was caught hanging out with my aunts and with my mom.
