Thank You, Puppy!

When I created this blog, I told myself that I will only be posting  entries when I am happy to create positive vibes and inspire my readers. But today is different. Our dog named Puppy deserves a tribute...

I just got a text message from my mom that our dog named Puppy died three days ago. I still find it hard to believe and I can't help but cry. My mom told me a month ago that Puppy was sick and was getting weak as days go by. I tried to ignore what she said for I was very pessimistic that Puppy will be healed. My mom and  my dad did everything to save him and Puppy was confined in the hospital for a month.

I has been seven years since we had Puppy. My younger brother Marion wanted a pet then and although I was against the idea, I had to no choice but to deal with it. Marion named him Puppy. We thought it was funny  to name a dog Puppy. I asked my brother, "What if he gets older, will you still call him Puppy?" Marion said, "Even if he gets older, he will be my puppy..." Now I clearly understand. Puppy will remain a part of our family, our  puppy, our baby!

I was not an animal-lover. I was kind of scared to touch them like as if they would always bite me. It took months before I learned to touch Puppy. So in the family, I think I was the least person who showed affection to Puppy. But I remember  touching his head every morning, giving him foods when he's hungry.  Now I feel I could have done better although I have loved him deeply.

Even if I would be gone for years, Puppy would still remember me. It is sad to think that next year when I go back again to the Philippines, there will be no more Puppy who will try his best to be noticed by me. At times, I would call him "Puppy" and he would bark like as if he understood what I wanted him to do.

He's a lovable dog. Almost everyone in our subdivision knows him. He has been a loyal friend to my family and he will be missed. Rest in Peace Puppy! Thank you for all the memories!

When you face your real Master, He will tell you - Job Well Done!

Today I learned that you have to tell people you love how much they mean to you, cause you will never know what will happen tomorrow. If a dog could touch lives, how much more could we do?

FOTD: Arabic Inspired (Tamed Version)

I was a little bored yesterday so I thought of dolling up myself.. As I have mentioned on my previous posts, I am really in-love with Arabian Makeup. But I tried to simplify it and not made it too dramatic.
Not too dark eyebrows, not too thick eyelashes, not much eyeliner...

Yalla, here we go: My Tamed Version

HAVE A GREAT DAY! :)

My VG-One Last Time

19 September 2010
Attended the first service because it would be our last time to see Charlene since she's flying for UK by night.

Cha and I were given a very cute scrapbook by our VG Family. It was so sweet of them! Special thanks to Ivee who stayed all night to make this "priceless gift". It means a lot.
A Little Glimpse:

We had our lunch together.Only this time, Charlene could not join us because she had to prepare for her flight. We have different personalities, coming from different backgrounds, but believe me we never run out of things to talk about. I think that's the best thing when you're comfortable with each other, you can just be yourself...

The hoNORIng they gave me was really touching. I was really lost for words. I was overwhelmed to know that I was able to touch their lives even in my own little ways.

We also had Karaoke afterwards. It's so goooood to sing even if we're out of tune.

Honoring For A Mighty Woman

September 12, 2010  --We gave this honoring for Charlene (our VG Leader) for her to feel appreciated and also to thank her for the impact that she had made in our lives and to let her know how much we value her. She was surprised and was very thankful. After hearing all the good words, she  gave back the glory to God. She continued to amaze us. A woman of God... I knew we had mixed emotions that day... It would be our last Sunday for the Small Group and she would leave next Sunday. I knew in my heart, this is not the end of a beautiful friendship for all of us... We will still meet along the way... I am just very grateful they came into my life... THANK YOU CHARLENE for being the BEST LEADER... You'll always be my mentor. Continue to inspire... Continue to bring Him honor wherever you are.:)

BLESSED TO HAVE THESE WOMEN IN MY LIFE...

Lunch Out Get Together

September 5, 2010
Texted my friends last Saturday  to have a lunch together on Sunday, since I thought I would be leaving that week. It was a short notice, but I am thankful most of them took time to see me. Some were not informed and the rest were not able to read the message on Facebook, for I don't have their numbers. I don't have a permanent mobile number, that's why!

Anyways, you have no idea how happy I was to see them...

So when was the last time I saw them?
I was  just with lovers Carll and (my bestfriend) Angela for the Every Nation 2010 World Conference last July 24, 2010.
Me, Angela and Carll
While the last time I saw  Kuya G was when bestfriend Ruthie left for UK last January 17, 2010. Since Ruthie left, Angela, Kuya G and I would always plan to meet up but there would always be a conflict in schedule..
my one and only Kuya Godfrey
(Angela and Nori's substitute bestfriend)
Carll and Angela were as delighted as me the moment Kuya G arrived...
My cousin Ailyn and I  would always plan to have a cup of coffee whenever I would go visit my Orthodontist in Manila, but sadly it never happened. My bad. Please blame me and my stupid schedule. The last time I saw her was during  her brother's son's baptismal last January 3, 2010. Glad she was there, even if I knew she was tired and sleepy that day.
with dear Ailyn
It has almost been 9 months since I last saw my two college friends Ivy and Marge. We were together at the Baptismal of Borris (Ivy's son) last December 20, 2009.
with Ivy, my godson Borris and Ninang Marge
I missed them to death....
Rad (Ivy's hubby) and my godson Borris
Luckily, I got to see my ever busy college bestfriend Tina. First time to see her again since I arrived in the Philippines last November. Seeing her makes me happy. I am convincing her actually to apply in the company where I'll be working, and she will give it a try.
Candynets and Cottonets
Wish Pumpkin and Pie were here too... And Atty. Arvid...
Ninang Tina's 1st time to see her godson Borris
They look good together... Wala lang..:P
We missed Tina from Kupz Night Out last November 16, 2009. So Marge and Ivy were very pleased to see Tina as well... We obviously missed each other and the rest of the KUPZ who were not here.. Sniff!

College Bestfriends:) Awwwww!
Wish the rest of the Kupz were here, too..
My favorite high school friend Joyce was present also, even the rest of our friends where nowhere to be found that day. Haha. They needed loooooooooong notice. Saw Joyce last January 16, 2010 for just another Girl Bonding with another friend of ours Mhel.
Love her so much..Amazing Joyce.
Finally, after all those cancelled plans for the past years and after waiting patiently for more than a decade, I was able to hug my two long lost sisters Michelle and Ging once again... They have been my younger sisters back in high school. We had so much fun back then.. Staying in the dorm was a lot of fun because of them.

They were all part of the choir so they know each other even if we had different set of friends back then.

Everyone was about to leave when my pretty friends Jhoanna and Trina arrived. So I had to stay and catch up with them. You see, these ladies traveled from Taytay to Manila just to see me. Ging and Michelle stayed with me.
