From Italia with Love

Avick, my bessie sent me this photo while she's enjoying her grand vacation/tour in Italy...

I really wish I was with her... It would be a lot of fun...I miss her loads... Can't wait to see her again...(hopefully next year). Crossing my fingers...

For now, I need to work hard  harder. I have lived a carefree type of  life for years... Not proud of it...
(This is my MAJOR MAJOR MISTAKE.. lols)

I have GOALS now..............Cheers!!!

A Beautiful Angel

I will never ever forget a very beautiful Lebanese child named Sharon I met back in Qatar. We lived in the same building and his father and I were working  for the same company. She has been my playmate..:) I remember the first time I saw her, I fell inlove with her charms right away.  I couldn't help but embrace her. She has a face of an angel. And her appeal was magnetic.

Sharon has always been so sweet to me. Whenever she sees me, she would be so excited to invite me to their house and would always be so happy to show me her toys...
All the stress from work would suddenly disappear after seeing her smiling at me... And then, she would force me to dance with her. I  always looked forward to hear her stories... She was thoughtful. She would give me candies, chocolates, softdrinks.
Me and Sharon...
I've told her mother (Priscila) many times, how beautiful her daughter is. And how I admire her for bringing up a child as sweet and kind as Sharon...If I would get a daughter someday, I want her to be just like Sharon...I miss her..

My Friend Lec

After more than two years of not seeing each other, since I left Hamilton, I finally got to see her again last Saturday in Tagaytay... Meet LEC -- my ever favorite friend and one of my trusted friends back in NZ.
Lec, Charice (Lec's Aussie friend) and me

I missed her terribly....
I remember Lec to have a very jolly personality. She's always cheerful, friendly and very sweet. She's likeable and not to mention very popular. There was never a dull moment whenever she's around. Her presence could light up the room. She could make anyone laugh with her crazy antics.

Lec has always been a good and dear friend to me. We shared fun and great memories together... And I will always be thankful to have a friend like her.

Some Fond Memories:
Our last coffee together back in NZ...
Lec treats people fairly regardless of his race or title...
Piglet (Lec's gift for me).
I was such a poor driver compared to Lec... :)
One crazy night at Lec's crib.
Party Girls... Lec is a dancing queen...
with our Maori friend, Ameria
we would normally spend our lunch together away from people
the SUPER SEXY GIRLS - Lhot, Lec, Nhet
with our closest colleagues
Lec joining the BEA gurls..
Gondola ride with Lec

A Verse

Encountered this verse thrice while reading the book Captivating yesterday...

Therefore I am now going to allure her;
I will lead her into the desert
and speak tenderly to her. (Hos. 2:14)

Contract Signing

Today, I signed my contract and I am expected to leave the Philippines very soon.

As much as my father wanted to drive me to Makati, he had to report to work early. And I could not use my car [POOTCHI] since it's a "Oh-No-It's-A-Tuesday-Coding-For-Her". So I had no choice but to commute. But when I woke up early this morning, my mother told me she would accompany me. I was really touched. (that's why I am sharing you the story)... Obviously I know how to go to Makati. I studied there from elem to high school and I worked and lived there also. I believed she was just a little worried that I might faint (because I am anemic) especially in crowded places... I told her to just stay at home and I could manage going there by myself, but she insisted. You know, I could not help but smile. I felt really blessed for having a mother like her. I believe it's my mom's way of making me feel how much she loves me and how much she wants to protect me... I may be a little pampered here in the Philippines, but I am also used to an independent life. I've worked and lived in four countries already (excluding Ph). But nothing beats the joy of being taken care of your mother.

While we were at the bus, my mom fell asleep and as I was looking at her face, I thought how beautiful she was (her father has Spanish blood, that's why)... That moment was priceless..I realized my mother has always been there for me. She has always been my "lucky charm". And for that I am very grateful.

Leaving home is not easy... Just the thought of it... Ooooh... And even if my mom was against the idea of working abroad because my former boss was really mean and rude...ummpp let us just say, she';s not nice. I thank her for all the support. I would not have done this without her guidance.

So, I just have few weeks to teach her how to use the internet. She was too lazy to learn it before, but she was not happy with her phone bill...

On our way home.. I told my mom how reckless the bus driver was, and she told me...
"Pa'no natin irereport, tingnan mo yung number..."
Nyay...Oo nga naman...:)
Thankful for my mother,
