Quick Post

Just got home from the mall. I had  foot spa + manicure & pedicure @ Body Tune... This would be the first and last time I'll be paying 640Php for a poor service. I just did not have any choice last time since I had to wait an hour or two from other spas and salons... I was kind enough to leave them a tip... But I am not coming back ever again... :P

So I am leaving tomorrow afternoon in case you wanna know. I don't know how long I'll be gone.. Though I intend to come back on May 1st, if my schedule would allow me, or if I have enough money.... So there, I'll be gone.. Wish me luck.. I don't have any internet connection in that place...

Earlier, my mom asked me to do the makeup of our neighbor Ate Josie, since she's attending a wedding.
She did like her makeup.. And that made my day..

She kept telling me that most of our neighbors didn't know that my parents have 3 children.. They thought they only had 2 sons... I really don't go out, that's why... My father told her, "And she only stays inside her room..."

People think I am such a loner for having my own little world.. That's really funny....

Anyhow, I haven't packed my things yet... Heaven help me, I am too lazy to do so.

Peacock Inspired Look

Sweet Morning everyone!!
Just want to share you guys the raw/unedited photos of one of the themes I made during our Finals.
I call this the Arabian Peacock Inspired Look.

Weeks before the finals, our teacher asked my classmates and I  for a theme that we would want to do for the Avant Garde... My suggestion was "Peacock". Because for some reason I have always admired how the Arabian women do their makeup. Their eyes are very beautiful. Their features are very prominent. I remember looking at their makeup whenever I see them at malls and just anywhere else. There is something on their look that is very appealing to me. One time, I met a British girl who studied Arabian makeup. She impressed me. I told her I have always been curious how the Arab women play with the eyeliners on their eyes and it would not look messy.

Luckily, my Peacock suggestion was chosen for the Avant Garde among the other suggestions of my classmates...

As you know there are 2 makeups I love/adore so much:
(1) Korean Flawless Look
(2) Arabian Colorful Makeup - I call this the Arabian Peacock (because of the colors)

 I wish I was able to do a little justice on this look..

Note: This is not how the Arab women do their makeup, huh.

They were just my inspiration for the Peacock Look..:)

Her Bestfriend. Her Makeup Artist.

I have this dream... Me doing my bestfriends' makeup on their wedding day.. I'll probably be a little better by then... Anyways, just in case they are reading this post, I just want to inform them that I won't be charging them that much... Of course, there will be a huge discount.. Haha..

Angela is one of the women I know who is blessed with a pretty face, brains and great personality to back it up. A woman of substance with and a kind and pure heart... Yes, God plays favorites for giving me a bestfriend like her...

She posed as my model for my makeup class last Saturday. I was so happy to see her again. Sometimes I wish we lived in the same area so I could at least see her everyday...

Just want to share you guys these photos of her... She did like her makeup which definitely made my day.. :)

For some reasons, all of  my friends who met Lei instantly liked and adored him.. 

Guess they all have one thing in common.. They are friendly and sincere..

Notice that I made Anj's nose more defined here...

 

People say she has a huge resemblance with Maui Taylor.

Others say she looks like Roxanne Barcelo...

I really don't know guys... 

For me, she is Angela... God's beautiful daughter. My sister in Christ...
