Heya! So excited to blog today, because I am learning a lot from my Makeup Class. I wish to learn more and master this craft soon so I could share my knowledge and hopefully do some tutorials. But I still have a loooooooooong way to go. :) Still need a lot of PRACTICE, PATIENCE and EXPERIENCE...
They rhyme, huh.. But I know, we will get there
someday soon...
Let me just acknowledge my pretty and nice friend Jewel who served as my model yesterday
for a Prime Look
JEWEL CO -- BEFORE AND AFTER :)
Can you tell the difference?
Jewel and her cute dimples...
She already has a good skin and a pretty face but after enhancing her features, she became more radiant, doesn't she? Think I need more improvement, but I am happy with the result.. She looks prettier here.. Winks.. Winks..
The evaluation went well, but my teacher told me I have to work more on blending the eyeshadows. And personally, I think I have to practice more in curling the lashes of other girls. In my case, I don't really curl mine, since my lashes are long and curly already. So I never knew doing it could be difficult. But learning techniques after making mistakes is something I like. I wish to gain more techniques with less mistakes... Does that make sense? Anyways, I better start reading more and watching more vids. There are future apprenticeships and OJTs for this month. I am so excited! Heart jumping with joy..
Had our late lunch afterwards in Glorieta with some of my fave classmates (I say fave because they are really nice, and sincere)
And weeeeh, high fashion shoot at Calibre Studio afterwards. But what I was doing here? Ha-ha.. Ask Lei (my echoserong classmate/friend). I helped Lei in prepping and putting the base on to the models. But yes, I also ended up posing as a "model".. Yay! But I am really excited to see the photos. Will be posting them here...
These are some of the behind-the-scenes- from the photoshoot. I wish I brought a friend to take photos of me while I was doing the models' makeup..
** On my way home, along EDSA, I was caught by MMDA traffic enforcer for another traffic violation --
Beating the Red Light, Baby! Ha-ha. It was the 2nd time at the same place exactly. After opening the window, I noticed that the traffic enforcer looked familiar. I told her, "Ate, ikaw na naman?".. Caller her, "Ate" cause I didn't know how should I address her... And she was a little shocked. "Di mo ba ako naaalala, ako rin yung nahuli mo last December. I gave you 500Php." She acted as if she doesn't remember, and told me it was her first time to see me. I was with my bestfriend Rooch then. I remember giving her 500, because unfortunately we didn't have any lower bills that time, just to avoid the hassles of getting my license back. But last night was different. I was not in my best mood to argue or defend my side. I was tired and hungry. I asked help this time around --
I called up my mother and asked my father to talk to the lady enforcer. Case solved..
REAL STORY -- I did not beat the red light;p
Thanks!!!
Much Love,
